A love for travel and a passion for delicious food are at the very heart of Smokin Chikin’s explosion into the Clarksville food scene. The two founding families are excellent friends and share the same life and family values; the same remarkable values they successfully weave throughout their restaurant.

Roger and Mohsun, along with their wives Sarika and Oneeba and their children, have lived in Clarksville, TN for more than 20 years combined. It is where they call home.

Regularly hosting friends and family is where they shine. Their culture provides for warm hospitality and meaningful conversations over a buffet of delicious international dishes, all prepared tirelessly from scratch. Everyone departs fully satisfied, anticipating the next invitation.

 “Smokin Chikin is an extension of who we are”, the four owners humbly admit, “it’s how we treat our friends and family and that’s why we consider everyone not as our customers, but as our guests!”

Their travels have taken them to different continents and regions across the globe, all the while experiencing different cuisines and unintentionally gathering recipes. Some even made it on the menu, like the popular Caribbean BBQ marinade and Island Fried Rice from Trinidad & Tobago – from where Roger originally hails.

So why “International Fusion” and why Clarksville?

There has been a growing appetite for American-inspired ethnic foods from around the world and only metropolitan cities tend to benefit from having such restaurants. Clarksville deserves to have a restaurant that offers just that –  a place where you can…

I tried the online ordering and picked it up inside, it was ready at the time stated online and the food was all delicious.

~~ 08/05/2020 This place is the best when you need something different and delicious. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The dining room in their new location is stunning and it is so cool to see the chicken cooking on the rotisserie at their original location. I really wish I could eat here everyday!

~~ 05/10/2020 This is the best chicken I have ever had - to say the chicken is delicious is an understatement - it was simply mind blowing. Everything including the sides was cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be going back for more and more.

~~ 07/19/2020  The food at Smokin Chikin is exceptionally good and there is nothing comparable in Clarksville. The portions are generous and the menu is diverse with a wide variety of chicken options, salads and an excellent array of side items. Smokin Chikin is our favorite restaurant and I would highly recommend the BBQ Chicken Pita, you will not forget it once you have tried it.

​-- 06/12/2020  Amazing food! I would give this place a 10 if I could. The food is so authentic and delicious. I can not stop eating at this place. Need to start at the top with there different sauces and work your way down the list. That is the only way to do it. Great Job.

 -- 04/01/2020 I was very impressed by the food and the decor of the new Smokin' Chickin near Exit # 11. The menu options are diverse and exceptionally good tasting, especially the BBQ Chicken Pita. The lay-out is modern with plenty of seating options as the capacity is for nearly 100 people.The owners are local to the area and were present both times I have eaten there so far,. It was obvious they take great pride in making sure their customers are satisfied. Perhaps the most surprising thing I learned in talking with them is that almost everything is made onsite and is fresh and not frozen, including their trademark rotisserie chicken. Unquestionably, this is my new favorite dining option in Clarksville.
